Founding tester agreement · September 2026

Your ideas are yours.

You are about to trust an early app with the things you would hate to forget. This is exactly what that means, in plain words.

1. This is early software

The Wombi app is a working prototype that changes almost every day. Things will break. Features will appear and disappear. Keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose somewhere else as well, at least until launch.

2. What I can see, and what I will not do

Your notes, transcripts and ideas are stored in Wombi's database. Like any app developer, I have administrator access to that database. Being honest about that matters more to me than a nice-sounding promise, so here is exactly how I handle it:

I do not read, listen to or share your notes. I open your account only when you ask me to, to fix a problem you reported, and I will tell you what I looked at.

What I do look at is activity counts: which days you used the app, how many ideas you captured, which features you used and when something crashed. Counts, not content. That is how I see what works and whether the six weeks are done.

3. Who else handles your data

4. Location

If you allow it, the app saves where an idea was captured, so you can find it later by place. You can say no. Everything else still works.

5. Deleting your data

You can delete your whole account from inside the app at any time, and everything goes with it. Deleted notes sit in the trash for 30 days so you can restore them, then they are gone for good. You can also email hello@wombi.store and I will delete everything for you within seven days.

6. Keep it between us

Wombi is not public yet. Please do not post screenshots, recordings of the app or the app itself anywhere public until launch. Telling a friend about the idea is fine, and if they sound like a good tester, send them to me.

7. Your feedback

Anything you suggest I may use to improve Wombi, with no payment owed for it. I will never quote you publicly by name without asking you first.

8. The tester discount

9. Leaving

You can stop at any time, for any reason. Just tell me. No hard feelings, and I would love to hear why.

10. Questions

Write to hello@wombi.store or ask me in the tester group.

Agreement version beta-2026-09. This is a plain-language agreement between you and Wombi (Yauri de Groot). If it changes, I will tell testers before the change applies.
