The app
Say it. It gets organized.
The Wombi app is what the wearable will talk to, and it already works. Talk or type whatever is on your mind; it is transcribed, split into notes, tasks and people, and filed. On your phone, and at your desk.

Wombi for Mac
Tap Option and talk, anywhere. Hold Control and the words go straight into whatever app you are in. Signed and notarized by Apple. macOS 13 or newer.
Download for MacSetting up the Mac
- Install. Open the file you downloaded and drag Wombi onto Applications, then open it from there. There is no window at first: a small kangaroo appears in the corner of the screen and an icon in the menu bar.
- Sign in. It asks the first time. Click Sign in… and your browser opens Wombi: sign in with your email or Google, or create an account if you are new. You do not need the phone app. Click Connect this Mac and you are back, connected. One account works on the phone and the Mac.
- Microphone. macOS asks the first time you record. Allow it.
- Accessibility. What lets it notice the Option key while you are in another app, and type into that app. System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → turn on Wombi. It opens that pane for you. If the keys stop working after an update, switch it off and on again.
- Speech Recognition. macOS asks the first time you hold Control. Allow it: that is what lets the words appear while you are still talking, recognised on the Mac itself.
What it does
Tap, talk, tap again. A braindump: filed into notes, tasks and projects.
Hold, talk, let go. Dictation into the app your cursor is in: Claude, Slack, a mail draft. The words appear as you say them.
Click it for one or two things Wombi has noticed, and a box to tell or ask it anything.
Open Wombi, from the menu bar icon or with Command 0. The full window: your day with checkboxes, everything it has noticed, your notes and the conversation.
Menu bar icon, then Send new voice memos to Wombi. Every memo you record, on your iPhone or this Mac, is transcribed on the Mac and filed by itself, however long it is. Needs macOS 26 and Full Disk Access for Wombi; it shows you where.
Press Escape while it is listening to throw the recording away. It never presses Return for you.
